Here's the final product of the beat I posted recently. Finally Theorii's lyrics are done justice by my mixing and production, making his work sound altogether a little more professional. The first step was to make his vocal track sound clear. This meant, compression, bringing out the mid-high frequencies, and adding slight reverb. Removing the background noise wasn't easy. It was very prominent to begin with, but it's hardly noticeable at all now. The second verse alone is probably one of my favourite pieces of Hip-Hop ever performed. His flow blends several influences to create a unique beast. Please share this around with any of your friends who might be interested.
In other news, I was in the middle of making another asian sounding beat, while FL studio decided it wanted to fuck me over and betray me (it crashed). I'll probably start work on that again tomorrow, as I lost almost everything. ThrashAndPerplex had contacted me about the "Cheer Up Kid" instrumental, and that he would be sending his vocals soon. It's taken a couple of days since he said that though, and I'm still waiting.
Stick around for more updates.
